One Pan Pasta
Last night I wanted pasta for dinner. I did not want to make a lot of dishes. It was just me at home last night.
I opted for using one fry pan with a lid. I had some canned broth, a half box of pasta, a green onion, a carrot, a large tomato, frozen spinach, small can of tomato sauce, about four slices of smoked turkey lunch meat, some dried Italian herbs.
I cut up vegetables and turkey. I put everything into the fry pan and turned on heat to medium. After it cooked for awhile, I put heat at low and let it all continue to cook until pasta w as cooked and a nice sauce had formed.
Dinner was served with enough for a pasta brunch today. Only difference about today was I added some grated cheese to it.
I think the pasta took on the flavors of the sauce much better this method of cooking.
Next time I might opt for more vegetables and no meat.
I suggest trying this cooking method for pasta. Be creative and add your own favorite flavors to it.
